The first of its kind in India, inspired by The Festival of Education Wellington, Festival of Education Rajasthan was set to be held in Jaipur. Under the able mentorship of the Honb’le Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Ministry of Education – Rajasthan and GEMS Education, the festival’s objective was to make Rajasthan the education hub of India, and as a result an initiative to make India the knowledge hub of the world.

Innovation

The thought behind the event was to bring students, teachers, educators, policy makers and parents under one roof. Three separate halls were set up for various stake holders who attended the event. From keynote addresses to panel discussions, up close and personal conversations, and technology was showcased at the festival. Along with that, the Ministry of Education’s CSR portal, an initiative to better the education system in Rajasthan was also launched through an activity called Kalpvriksha.
